Google Maps Renews Its Direction Arrow, So Is The New Design Flashlight and So Is Calibrated

Google Maps just announced officially making to make us easier to know that address are aiming with our mobile device they have replaced the directional arrow blue point by a new bright blue Ray it pretends to be a flashlight.

This new design of flashlight will attempt to guide us much better than the earlier date, since it indicates more accurately our orientation, since how much narrower the more accurate light beam will be the direction in which we are aiming.

How to calibrate the compass

If the light beam is very wide it means that we have to calibrate the compass of our Android device, and one way to do it is take the phone with one hand and draw a slightly rotated eight in the air as shown in the following animation:
